Who did the engraving Bob? The extension of the pattern into the rear of the trigger guard as shown in pics 2 & 3 is an outstanding detail.

I see "SPECIAL" on the barrel of one picture and judging by the size of the cylinder chambers, it's my guess it's a 44 special.

L.G. -- as Steel Horse said, Jim Downing did the engraving and the finish. Jim Alaimo at Nutmeg Sports did the ivory grips (one piece).

Tubac-- Yes. The real deal. Pre-ban ivory. Got a certificate of origin with them to keep the Customs away from the door.
