Well, Pards, I finally managed to pry the pistol out of the swamp of stupid rules they have here in the People's Democratic Republic of Maryland. Would have been nice if the seller had cleaned it or reassembled it properly (after not cleaning it) before they shipped it to me, but hey, it's here now and I'll take good care of it. I might -
might - consider trading it for a '72 Open Top in .38 Colt, but I want to go burn some .44s in this one first, see how it does. 'Course, the bad weather's here now and I'll have to wait...
In the meantime we're moving back into the city
but we'll have an all new kitchen and bathroom
and I'll get a space staked out for a reloading/work bench
in a house with no stairs to climb
