Fall City Beer Co. never made good beer to start with, and their venture naming their product "Billy Beer" to get promotion from Billy Carter was as big a sales flop as the Edsel by Ford.  Thankfully, they are no longer in business.  :P  :(     However, collectors pay great prices for cans or cartons of it.  Guess it's because they don't have to drink it.

Not true, another urban myth, so much was made and saved as instant collectors items that it is really not worth much, found that on a collectors site several months ago when I was trying to find a picture of a can of Billy Beer.  However no matter if the site was wrong or right, I would trade the one empty Billy Beer can I have somewhere in the attic for Frenchie's pistol. ;D

The Real reason so much was saved, was that Fall City Beer Co., could not sell it.  No one wanted that foul brew.  I am well aware that many cases were purchased simply because of the name, but it was not to drink.  When Falls City Beer was sold, the remaining stock flooded the market.  But, there are still enough wannabe that there is a market for them.  More than they are worth, that is.  :P

Well, Pards, I finally managed to pry the pistol out of the swamp of stupid rules they have here in the People's Democratic Republic of Maryland. Would have been nice if the seller had cleaned it or reassembled it properly (after not cleaning it) before they shipped it to me, but hey, it's here now and I'll take good care of it. I might - might - consider trading it for a '72 Open Top in .38 Colt, but I want to go burn some .44s in this one first, see how it does. 'Course, the bad weather's here now and I'll have to wait...  :(

In the meantime we're moving back into the city  :(  but we'll have an all new kitchen and bathroom  8)  and I'll get a space staked out for a reloading/work bench  8) in a house with no stairs to climb  ;D.

Long as I'm running off at the mouth, no cigarettes for a week now. The time's just zipped by like a century or so...  :-\
Yours, &c.,
