I just came back from a short practice session. 1858 Remingtons with 28 grs of RS under a home made waxed wad and a freshly cast ball, Marlin 1894 FG with a 200 gr bullet over the same waxed wad and 30 grs of Pinnacle, Remington Spartan 20 ga with a square load of 9s. Full choke tube cuts polk weeds off at 25 yards.
YeeHaw.
Lots of smoke, fire and stuff going on. I'm really going to love this.
